My name is Belinda Eugene, I am a compassionate and self-motivated nursing professional with over six years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to providing quality patient care in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities, and community care environments. I believe that care should be holistic, taking into account not only the physical needs of patients but also their emotional, psychological, and cultural needs.

In alignment with Florence Nightingale’s Environmental Theory, I understand the importance of the environment in the healing process. I strive to create spaces where patients feel safe, respected, and comfortable, which I believe enhances their recovery. Additionally, inspired by Madeleine Leininger’s Culture Care Theory, I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care by recognizing and respecting the diverse backgrounds of my patients, ensuring that my care is congruent with their cultural values and beliefs.

My work as a CNA has provided me with a solid foundation in patient care, and I plan to build upon this as I pursue my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) and eventually a Nurse Practitioner (NP). My mission is to deliver patient-centered care that prioritizes the individual as a whole—focusing on their health, environment, and unique cultural needs.

My Mission

My mission as a nurse is to provide patient-centered care that prioritizes compassion, dignity, and respect. I believe in the holistic approach to nursing, which involves treating the patient as a whole person rather than focusing solely on their medical conditions. I am committed to lifelong
learning and growth, and I aspire to use my knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
